Q: Do you do custom orders?
A: Customs are currently closed at this time. 

Q: How fast do you ship?
A: I ship most orders within 3-5 business days of receiving them. Processing time on made-to-order items depends on current volume of orders, but should be shipped within the week. Within the US, I ship via Flat Rate Priority Mail 2-day to ensure fast delivery with a bit of extra insurance, Please note, that I am a one woman business, and sometimes extenuating circumstances such as illness or family emergencies can occur that may impact this timeline. If that happens, I will contact you to let you know. 

When filling out your order, please pay extra care to enter the correct address. I am not responsible for packages lost in transit by the post or mis-delivered packages due to an incorrect or incomplete address entered at the time or order.

Q: Will my piece tarnish?
A: Yes.It is simply the chemical nature of sterling silver reacting to the elements. I will include a small polishing foam cloth with your piece to spot clean it, but you may want to invest (they're actually inexpensive) in a silver polishing cloth to keep your piece looking lovely. Please also make sure to store your ring in a secure location, such as the anti-tarnish pouch included with your piece. Always remove your pieces before washing your hands, digging in the dirt, exercise, or any other activity that might expose your piece to unfavorable conditions. 

Q: Will the metal of my piece stay darkened?
A: It taken care of, it should. One of the reasons I love working with sterling silver is that its color darkens (patina) over time, bringing attention to the little dents and valleys that come with natural wear from loving a piece. Some people don't prefer this look, but I do so much so that most of my pieces have an added patina before I polish them. 

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: Sadly, due to the state of shipping prices and inconsistency with postal services I am not able to ship internationally at this time.

Q: Can you resize or repair my piece?
A: As each ring is made in a very specific fashion, the resizing of a piece would alter (sometimes drastically) the piece. Because of this, I do not offer ring resizing services. 

If something happens to your piece that causes damage to it, please reach out to me directly so we can try to come up with the best solution for you. Sometimes, it is s simple repair that I can take on. Other times, it is best to leave a more sensitive repair to one of my other local professionals. 

Q: Where is my receipt?
A: Because I have received many requests to NOT include receipt for gift-giving purposes and to save paper, I do not include printed paper receipts with orders. You should receive a receipt to the email you provided at the time of order. If you don't see it, check that pesky SPAM folder!

 

Returns

Q: What is your return/cancellation policy?
A: Once an order has shipped, it is no longer in my possession and cannot be cancelled. Please be sure you read all descriptions and polices before ordering to make sure that you are ordering the exact piece that you want/need. I want you to love your items! That being said, if you accidentally hit Submit on that order and still need to cancel, please email me right away at sara@dashota.com. I cannot guarantee that I will be able to cancel your order, but I will certainly try to help!

I take special care to include detailed photographs and descriptions of all items listed in my shop. All items in my shop were handmade by me with the greatest care. Please remember that handmade items tend to be like delicate pieces of art and should be worn, stored, and cleaned as such. 

Please do not wear your pieces when in water (including hand washing), dirt, or sweaty activities. 

To avoid a situation in which you would desire a refund, please make sure to thoroughly read each product description and look at all pictures in the listing. If you have any questions before your purchase, please send me an email at sara@dashota.com

If you are still desiring a refund, please contact me within 14 days of receiving your order, and we will try to collaborate on an agreeable solution. I do not accept returns based on buyer's remorse or incorrect size ordered. Please know your size before ordering. If you are unsure of your ring or wrist size, most local jewelers are happy to help you find your size for free. Please be aware that as all of us live in different bodies, a piece may look/hang differently on you than it does on me or any model in my pictures.
